韓国最大手の総合コンテンツ企業 CJ E&Mが主催する「2017 MAMA(Mnet Asian Music Awards)」が、ベトナムと日本での開催に続き、香港にてMAMA WEEKのフィナーレを飾った。
1日午後6時からスタートしたレッドカーペットと授賞式には、SUPER JUNIOR、EXO、防弾少年団、テミン、ソンミ、 Dynamic Duo、GOT7、Day6、Red Velvet、HYUKOH、Heize、 赤いほっぺの思春期、NCT 127らが登場。ホストとしてソン・ジュンギ、イ・ボムス、ユン・ゲサン、キム・ジェウク、イ・ジェフン、アン・ジェヒョン、ナム・ジュヒョク、ジス、イ・ヨンエ、パク・ジュミ、イ・ハニ、ソン・ジヒョ、キム・ユジョンらが出席。授賞式の模様はMnetチャンネルとアジア14か国およびエリアのメインチャンネル、オンラインプラットフォームで同時生中継され、Mwaveを通じて世界180か国で中継された。
